Do you do group classes?

No, we focus on higher quality 1-2-1 sessions but could also accommodate up to 2 people to share a session.

What are your qualifications?

Elite Boxing for Fitness under Hatton Boxing Academy and Muay Thai Qualified (MTQ2) Kru Instructor under Grand Master Sken Association (MSA)

Where do you deliver sessions?

At client's choice within Central London. It could be a home, an office or an outdoor location.

What is the minimum age for children?

We recommend to start from the age of 7. For that age, we will combine elements of technique, coordination, concentration but also a lot of fun.

Why are children sessions only 45 minutes?

This is to keep their time enjoyable. By experience, after 45 minutes of 1-2-1 coaching they tend to lose their concentration.

Are you qualified to train children?

Yes your coach has been DBS Screened for operating with children.

Which boxing techniques do you teach?

This can be summarised as Mixed Boxing techniques. Depending on the client's aptitude and goals, the session will be tailored more towards boxing (mostly punches) or we can bring on leg work with kicks and go as far as include elbows and knees.

Do you only do pad work?

No, again depending on clients' preferences your coach will also include more defensive strikes and also can teach sparring techniques to get you in the mood of a fighter.

Do you also teach ladies?

Definitely, while they are usually less attracted by the sparring and fighting component, they tend to be very good on coordination, flexibility and fitness. Very often they like to combine both punches and leg work.

How would you break down the benefits of your boxing sessions?

Firstly, Boxing training can be compared with High Intensity Training (HIT), that means that it is firstly very good for cardio and therefore has massive benefits on the fitness side. Secondly, the fact that people physically punch creates a huge wellbeing sentiment. Finally, there is also a key strengthening component. So depending on the focus of the clients the percentages will change.

Jean Marc is a very nice man, very attentive and above all he teaches boxing with passion and pedagogy. My 15 year old daughter really enjoyed her weekly sessions and finds these lessons a way to increase her concentration. The good mood is always there and it's important in this current environment! A good moment of relaxation!
